Hello Spring 2019 Design in Social Media Class!
We have completed individual assignments up to this point in the course. We will have our midterm exam, then I am going to switch things up for the remainder of this class.
We will complete our Final Project as teams. We will have a Facebook Live in the group in April to discuss the Final Project.
We will create infographics, too!
Looking forward to completing the course with great success.
This week, please remember to post your brand image on our Facebook Group Page

The Blog Post you will embed and post in our Facebook Group APPD2235
I asked you to write in 250 words which type of digital communication you believe and prefer using for your social media.
Then I asked that you would copy the image I placed in the Blackboard assignment and paste it into this blog post on YOUR BLOG.
Look at our Facebook Group Page for the post where I have placed the URL as the Link and "LIKE"

Spring 2017 Class Blog Post
Google Blogger has continued to change over the years but kept some basic key editing tools.
By now, you see the bar of commands across the top that you use to write and create your post. This is very basic but useful.
Some good rules to remember for your posts concerning the visual elements would be:
Save your post before you publish.
Then if you are ready, publish your post.
In your Blogger dashboard for your Blog, you can delete posts.
Hope you enjoy Blogging!

2016 Design in Social Media Course
Our class in the the 3rd and 4th weeks create their own individual brand and a blog on blogger.
I enjoy seeing the creativity of my students. The new talent and ideas never cease to amaze me. In the lessons our main goals are to become familiar with online etiquette, the power of visual composition to the viewer online (such as a brand) and the components to online writing as seen in a person's blog.
I hope to see the new blogs created this semester and the branding ideas from each student.
Our program created a brand for many purposes.
It uses color and our college brand within the design. We also kept an association with our program from our course's prefix that identify's the program, "Applied Design uses APPD"
