Company Name:  Beach Media Design Services

Description:
A small business providing initial design and set-services of social media marketing plans for other small businesses.  The clients may use the services as a one time set-up fee or pay for monthly service package.  
My business will consist of the following model for inquiries:
First Time meeting and consultation
Presentation Meeting to determine the final decisions on client's marketing strategy
Finalize an organizational chart and social media calendar including a crisis management solution
Pending approval of client, my business will begin set-up and publishing the social media for the project.

My business brand:  
My colors are Blue, Black and Green

My target clientele:
"While there a many diverse types of small businesses, I believe I can best serve those who have limited technology based skills and want to focus on their company's function in the market."
Age group:  35 - 75 year old men or women
Locations:  Regional Locations to provide face to face meetings
Client Company size:  small to medium (profit of $100K/year - $250K/year)  and with 1 - 20 employees

My ideal client would be a small business that is local and available for consistent communication.  I believe this will lend itself to more long term client relationships and steady business.  

My company will have a website for my clients to utilize and for online inquiries.
The social media platform that I will use and also provide services through for my clients will be LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube
My website will house a link to my Blog that will have posts of successful client projects, industry updates related to the social media platforms I use and industry white papers.
My Blog content will then be editorial-based, marketing-backed and behavior-driven.
I hope to reassure them of the social media sites that I am using for their company (marketing-backed and behavior-driven)
My opening page on the website will have updated multimedia to a targeted audience as well as promote my clients.  My Twitter and Facebook will focus on my targeted ideal customer, reassuring them of the value in professional assistance with their company's social media marketing.  My social media will also include fun posts and tweets that are relevant to daily local events and happenings.

SPRING BREAK!

Social Media seems to have many facets in our interactions.  In our class we all have various experience with this form of communication.  As an instructor, each student needs to have the background experience in Social Media measured in with their performance.  I hope the first eight weeks of our class has helped each student in one way or another.  

Spring Break is upon us here in West Virginia.  
March came in like a soggy wet cold lion and will hopefully leave as a lamb.  

The second half of the semester will include more interactions and visual guidelines to learn when working with Social Media.  Because it is all about the "Design in Social Media."
